Sarah Olson
Regional Coordinator: NC | Asheville, NC Program Lead | Marketing & Outreach Extraordinaire

Sarah grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, just shy of Canada. Yeah, she says things like ‘ope’, ‘eh’ and ‘you betcha.’ As a Great Lakes kid, she spent a lot of time outdoors - camping, fishing, riding her bike, etc. Sarah’s love for two wheels started on the back of her Dad’s motorcycle (before her feet could even reach the pegs). Don’t be fooled though, she wasn’t always a skilled cyclist (don’t tell her we told you this, but on her first trip around the block sans training wheels she hit two bushes and a parked car). Prior to her role at Little Bellas, Sarah taught Elementary/Middle school Special Education. Sarah holds a degree in both Elementary and Special Education with a minor in Language Arts; in addition, she also holds her bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Marketing, both from Northern Michigan University. Most days you can find her chasing around her tiny human, but when she gets the chance, you’ll find her running, hiking, or biking on the closest road or trail. Every now and then, you might even catch her playing dirtbikes. Oh, yeah, Sarah also has a husky who would surely be upset if he ever found out that he wasn’t mentioned here (let's not mention this to the cat either).

What is your favorite Little Bellas experience? It’s hard to pick just one, but here it goes...it was our first year and the girls had a pretty decent climb to pedal up each week. On this particular Tuesday, we encouraged the girls to try their best to make it all the way up - think ‘The Little Engine That Could’ - expect you KNOW YOU CAN. Each girl made it up chanting “I know I can, I know I can” at the top of their lungs all the way to the top. It was pure magic.
What is a fun fact that people don't know? I passed the Series 7 Financial Exam
