As the Vermont winter starts to finally head out and the time for wearing only two layers approaches, parents start thinking about plans for the summer. A great way to keep kids having fun and giggling their way through the early summer? The Little Bellas Williston Vermont Sunday Program!
The Williston Sunday Program was the very first Little Bellas program and has been running since 2007. This was the place where we saw the positive and confidence building impact mountain biking, mixed with fun, could have on young girls. The program is open to all abilities and meets five select Sundays at Catamount Family Center throughout the early summer. Our goal is to create an environment where learning mountain bike skills, building confidence, and growing the camaraderie among young girls is centered around having fun. Whether it's riding the pump track, racing a "slow" race, enjoying the flow of Pure Bliss, eating snacks, or working our way up to the views of Indian Lookout, Catamount offers the perfect mix of sweet riding and fun challenges ideal for this program.
Once a week, the girls and mentors (we don't coach, we mentor) will engage in different activities, rides, and games as a way to progress through a basic to advanced mountain biking skill set. The girls will be given healthy challenges in a friendly, fun environment. This curriculum is designed to promote camaraderie among the girls, progressive skill learning, and to perpetuate the love of mountain biking, all while having a great time! This program is for riding and fun and is not focused on competition.
Scholarships are available so please communicate any financial help needed by thoroughly answering the questions about her or her equipment needs when registering.
Participation in Little Bellas allows each girl's trail fee to be waved. If parents would like to ride the trails while their daughter is in session, they will have to purchase a trail pass.

Program Lead Contact Information
- Name:Gage O'Donnell

Gage started riding mountain bikes in elementary school during a dryland training ski camp. She was hooked. Working mountain bikes camps in high school and hitting the trails as much as possible, riding became her summer "skiing". She uses mountain biking to get her through the summer until skiing and skiing to get her through the winter until mountain biking. She has found the perfect balance of awesome. Gage is not only the VT lead mentor, but also assists with B Project and at Little Bellas camps around the country, feeding both her passion for getting girls on bikes and her love of VT Smoke and Cure Meat Sticks. She also aspires to be a professional Little Bellas one day.
