We want program registration to be easy and fair, so we will run this program's registration with a random selection process. Everyone will have one week to pre-register their participant(s) for Little Bellas. Pre-registration does not guarantee a spot, and we do not collect payment during the pre-registration period. After pre-registration closes, one of two things will happen: a) if the program is full or over capacity, we will use a random selection process to determine who gets in; those who are not selected will be placed on a waitlist or b) everyone who pre-registered will be accepted into the program and we will transition to our usual first come first serve registration to fill the remaining slots.
School's out and it's time for summer! Okay, if there were no snow days, school's out and it's time for summer! Warmer weather is here, the snow has finally melted in the mountains, and kids are ready to get out and play in the woods, in the fields, anywhere outside. A great way to get kids outside and active? The Little Bellas Upper Valley Weekly Program!
The Upper Valley Weekly Program meets at the Boston Lot Trail System in Lebanon, NH. and offers five recurring mountain bike riding sessions on Wednesday nights throughout the summer. Open to riders of all abilities, the focus of each session is fun, allowing each girl to make new friends, learn new skills, and build confidence, all in a positive, fun environment. Whether it's riding through a color powder tunnel while playing bike limbo or riding over the bridges of Boston Lot, the program strives to create an environment built around having fun and learning the skills of mountain biking.
Meeting and riding once a week, girls and mentors (we don't coach, we mentor) will participate in various activities, rides, and games all as a way to work on a mountain bike skills progression. The girls will be given healthy challenges to test and grow their skills but in a friendly, fun, safe environment. This program is for riding and fun and is not focused on competition.
Financial assistance is available if needed and we also have equipment available through our Gear Up program! Please communicate any of these needs when filling out the registration form for the program.
Is your participant Age 12 or 13? If so, they are eligible to join our Upper Valley RIDE program geared specifically for older riders.
Upper Valley, NH Program Lead
Jane grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia - with access to biking and skiing from a young age, she quickly developed a passion for outdoor activities. Naturally these passions led her to Vermont and now calls the Green Mountain State her home. Yes, she lives in VT and does a program in New Hampshire, WHAT?! But that's Jane. Whether it's coaching ski racing, mountain bike classes, or hanging out with her husband and kids, her dedication is amazing. Combined with her passion for developing local trail systems and generally spreading joy for riding in the woods to kids, Jane is constantly doing something to make riding and the outdoors amazing!
