Program Description
It's always more fun to ride in a group!!! Getting together with a bunch of like-minded people who share the love for being outside and riding trails as you do, yes please! Many times it's hard to find a group of people who have the same schedule and can ride at the same times. We have the solution! The Little Bellas Upper Valley Ride Program!
The Upper Valley, NH Monday Ride Program meets every Monday throughout the summer at the Boston Lot Trail system and various other trails in the area. This is the next level of the Little Bellas. Open to girls of all abilities, the Monday Ride offers the girls a unique opportunity to learn how to ride mountain bikes from our most experienced mentors. Still based around having fun, the rides take them on trails they may know, trails they may not know, and really gives the girls a chance to try, learn, or hone their skills.
Financial assistance is available if needed and we also have equipment available through our Gear Up program! Please communicate any of these needs when filling out the registration form for the program.
Upper Valley, NH Program Lead
The Upper Valley Ride Program is led by Katharine Ogden. If you say Katharine was born on skis, you wouldn't be very far off. She started skiing with her father at age three, joined a youth ski program at age five, and has been racing every winter since. She’s dabbled in mountain biking when there’s no snow and is a Little Bellas Pro Ambassador. After a visit to our Upper Valley Weekly Program, Katharine wanted in. She decided one day wasn’t enough so planned on becoming a mentor. After some interviewing and talking, Katharine is getting her own program. The area was already slated to get another program and then Katharine steps in. If that isn’t serendipitous, I don’t know what is. Katharine is joined by a great group of female mentors from the community who bring a variety of skill, personality and super powers!
