Program Description

Registration Information

We want program registration to be easy and fair, so we will run this program's registration with a random selection process. Everyone will have one week to pre-register their participant(s) for Little Bellas. Pre-registration does not guarantee a spot, and we do not collect payment during the pre-registration period. After pre-registration closes, one of two things will happen: a) if the program is full or over capacity, we will use a random selection process to determine who gets in; those who are not selected will be placed on a waitlist or b) everyone who pre-registered will be accepted into the program and we will transition to our usual first come first serve registration to fill the remaining slots.

Program Description

You said you wanted more Little Bellas, so we delivered! We now offer Weekly programs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Park City to help get more girls on bikes. Little Bellas Park City Tuesday Weekly 1 Program is the perfect program for kids looking to get outside, ride bikes, and have a little fun!

The Park City Tuesday Weekly 1 Mountain Bike Program offers five recurring, Tuesday night sessions, three of which are at Quinn's Junction and two at Trailside Skills Park during the season. The program starts off at Quinn's Junction for the girls to stretch their legs and get comfortable on the trails! Trailside Skills Park is the perfect setting for learning new skills.  Not only do they have a one-mile, well-groomed, single track trail, they have a top-notch skills course! Start with the balance beam, then the ramp. Take your choice of berm corners or the gnarly stairway.  Whatever the level or ability of rider, the program is based around having fun and creates an environment to allow each girl to make new friends, ride trails, and play games, all while learning skills for the sport of mountain biking.

Girls and mentors (we mentor, we don't coach) ride once a week and work on a mountain bike skills progression through different activities, rides, and adventures. These girls will be given healthy challenges in a friendly, fun environment. This program is for riding and promoting a love for mountain biking and is not focused on competition.

Financial assistance is available if needed and we also have equipment available through our Gear Up program! Please communicate any of these needs when filling out the registration form for the program.

This program is supported by a grant from the Solomon Fund of Park City Community Foundation.

Park City Program Lead

Jess Bryant grew up in the great flat midwest (central Illinois) where she was certain she’d never try mountain biking. However, after moving to Utah in 2017 and going on one ride with coworkers on an old clunker, she was hooked! She bought her first bike shortly thereafter and began exploring Park City and Salt Lake City area trails as often as her legs would allow. Gravel biking and bike packing are on her current list of bike-related pursuits so she can go further, for longer! While not dreaming up routes or pedaling you can find Jess hiking, cooking, nordic skiing, tending her chickens, writing grants and handling marketing for a Park City-based social services nonprofit.
