Program Description

Colorado and outdoor activities, they go hand in hand.  There are endless mountains to hike and trails to rip.  Kids are on bikes the minute they can walk and it's our goal to keep them going in this positive direction with the Little Bellas Erie Weekly Program!

The Erie Weekly Mountain Bike Program meets at Lehigh Park in Erie, CO and is open to girls of all abilities.  The program offers eight recurring mountain biking sessions throughout the summer and focuses on allowing each girl to learn new skills and build confidence, all in a positive, fun environment.  Using both trail riding and specific games both on and off the bike, the girls practice proper riding technique, eat snacks, and make new friends.

Girls and Mentors (we don't coach, we mentor) ride once a week and participate in games and activities to help them build confidence and mountain bike skills in a progression.  The girls will be given healthy challenges in a friendly, fun environment, both on and off the bike. This curriculum is designed to promote camaraderie among the girls, skill learning, and to perpetuate the love of mountain biking, all while having a great time! This program is for riding and fun and is not focused on competition.

Financial assistance is available if needed and we also have equipment available through our Gear Up program!  Please communicate any of these needs when filling out the registration form for the program.

Program Lead Contact Information

Kristal grew up in Washington state until about 20 years ago, a powerful force pulled her from this amazing state. The force?  Colorado sunshine.  Once there, she quickly took advantage of everything outdoorsy.  She enjoys skiing, camping with her family, traveling, and cycling.   Especially cycling and all things related to cycling, specifically on dirt! So much dirt, so little time!  Kristal's going to try her best to get out on as much dirt as she can and help others get out on it as well!  She helped grow our Boulder program to what it is today and now can't wait to get another chapter started in Erie, which makes her the coolest EVER! Kristal truly appreciates the connection and impact cycling has allowed her to make with both adults and kids.
