It's time for summer! Warmer weather is here, and who isn't ready to get out and play in the woods, in the fields, anywhere outdoors? A great way to get kids outside and active? The Little Bellas Elkridge Weekly Program!
The Elkridge Weekly Program offers eight recurring mountain bike riding sessions throughout the summer. Open to riders of all abilities, the focus of each session is fun, allowing each girl to make new friends, learn new skills, and build confidence, all in a positive, fun environment. The program will meet across from Patapsco Valley State Park at the Rockburn Branch Park. The girls will benefit from riding a skills park AND a pump track! Whether it's riding through a color powder tunnel or playing bike limbo, the program strives to create an environment built around having fun and learning the skills of mountain biking.
Meeting and riding once a week, girls and mentors (we don't coach, we mentor) will participate in various activities, rides, and games all as a way to work on a mountain bike skills progression. The girls will be given healthy challenges to test and grow their skills but in a friendly, fun, safe environment. This program is for riding and fun and is not focused on competition. This program is perfectly located near Downtown Catonsville, making it easy to grab a quick bite after the program.
Financial assistance is available if needed and we also have equipment available through our Gear Up program! Please communicate any of these needs when filling out the registration form for the program.
