Program Description

Registration Information

We want program registration to be easy and fair, so we will run this program's registration with a random selection process. Everyone will have one week to pre-register their participant(s) for Little Bellas. Pre-registration does not guarantee a spot, and we do not collect payment during the pre-registration period. After pre-registration closes, one of two things will happen: a) if the program is full or over capacity, we will use a random selection process to determine who gets in; those who are not selected will be placed on a waitlist or b) everyone who pre-registered will be accepted into the program and we will transition to our usual first come first serve registration to fill the remaining slots.

Program Description

It's always more fun to ride in a group!!! Getting together with a bunch of like-minded people who share the love for being outside and riding trails as you do.  Many times it's hard to find a group of people who have the same schedule and can ride at the same times.  We have the solution!  The Little Bellas Wednesday Ride Program!

The Chittenden County, VT Ride Program meets every Wednesday throughout the summer at the Catamount Family Center and various other trails in the area.  This is the next level of the Little Bellas. Open to girls of all abilities, the Ride program offers the girls a unique opportunity to learn how to ride mountain bikes from our most experienced mentors.  Still based around having fun, the rides take them on trails they may know, trails they may not know, and really gives the girls a chance to try, learn, or hone their skills.  Participants will also have the option to race the Catamount Wednesday Night Race, if racing is something they are looking to try or already participate in.  The program is not based around racing or competition but we want to give girls as many options to try as many things as possible!

Financial assistance is available if needed and we also have equipment available through our Gear Up program!  Please communicate any of these needs when filling out the registration form for the program.

Hope joined the Little Bellas team in 2020. While first finding her way to cycling through road riding, these days Hope can be found exploring different trail networks in the woods or zooming over paved Vermont roads searching for big hills to climb. She loves learning about the ecosystem around her and you can often find Hope stopping mid-trail to point out a colorful flower, marvel at porcupine quills, or to relocate small insects wandering across the busy trails. Off the bike, Hope is a foodie at heart and makes a living creating edible cookie dough. Yes, you heard that right, edible cookie dough! She loves the continued learning that comes with finding the balance between the art and science behind making and experimenting with food. That being said, she is never without a snack and, even better, loves to share her snacks with others. Hope is thrilled to share her knowledge of all things cycling, nature and food in the upcoming seasons!
