It's pretty obvious why people love Bozeman. Amazing weather, amazing scenery, and opportunities to get outside all year round! So many trails, so many options! Kids are born riding bikes, and we want to keep them riding bikes all through life. There's no better way to do this than the Little Bellas Weekly Mountain Bike Program!
The Little Bellas Weekly Program is an all girls, eight-week program on Monday nights at Highland Glen Nature Preserve. Open to riders of all abilities, the main focus of each session is having fun! The program creates a positive, fun environment for girls to learn riding skills and gain confidence through the sport of mountain biking. Using both trail riding and specific games both on and off the bike, the girls practice proper riding technique, eat some snacks, and make new friends, all while learning new skills and gaining confidence on bikes.
Girls and mentors (we mentor, we don't coach) ride once a week and work on mountain bike skills progression through different activities, rides, and adventures. These girls will be given healthy challenges in a friendly and fun environment. This program is focused on riding for fun and promoting a love of mountain biking and is non-competitive.
Financial assistance is available if needed and we also have equipment available through our Gear Up program! Please communicate any of these needs when filling out the registration form for the program.
Bozeman Program Lead
Heading up the Bozeman chapter is Little Bella-turned-Program Lead, Abby Grab! Abby was born and raised in Underhill, VT where she enjoyed skiing, hiking, and of course, biking - and where she first became a Little Bella herself. She moved to Bozeman for school and stuck around after falling head-over-handlebars for the local outdoors community. After growing up doing most activities with her Dad and brothers, she especially appreciates recreating with other women. Abby is excited to share the confidence and joy that she has found through Little Bellas with a new community of girls and women, and to giggle, ride bikes, and play games together!
