We want program registration to be easy and fair. We are transitioning all programs to a three week pre-registration period. With this new system, everyone will have three weeks to pre-register their participant(s) for Little Bellas. After pre-registration closes, one of two things will happen: a) if the program is full or over capacity, we will use a random selection process to determine who gets in; or b) we will transition to our usual first come first serve registration to fill the remaining slots.
We hope this new process will ease some stress and help create a more fair registration system for all Little Bellas girls and families. See more information on our blog here.
It's pretty obvious why people love Boulder. Amazing weather, amazing scenery, and besides the occasional snow dusting, mountain bike riding all year round. So many trails, so many options! Kids are born riding bikes. And we want to keep them on bikes and riding, all year round and all through life. There's no better way to do this than the Little Bellas Weekly Mountain Bike Program!
The Little Bellas Weekly Program is an all girls, eight week program, meeting for 2 weeks at Boulder Valley Ranch, and 6 weeks at Valmont Bike Park. Open to riders of all abilities, the main focus of each session is having fun! The program creates a positive, fun environment for girls to learn riding skills and gain confidence through the sport of mountain biking. Using both trail riding and specific games both on and off the bike, the girls practice proper riding technique, eat snacks, and make new friends, all while experiencing everything these two different locations have to offer. This program is focused on riding and having fun and not on competition.
The Amy D Sessions, a collaboration between the Amy D Foundation and the Little Bellas, is dedicated to preserving Amy Dombroski's memory and sharing her love of cycling. We aim to honor our long-time friend by inspiring the next generation to love the sport as Amy did.
Financial assistance is available if needed and we also have equipment available through our Gear Up program! Please communicate any of these needs when filling out the registration form for the program.
Boulder, CO Program Lead
Diane moved to Colorado from Utah about 10 years ago and it took her about 10 seconds to jump right into the Colorado lifestyle of riding every type of bike she could. Be it road cycling or mountain biking, Diane is all about it. She's competed in numerous races and many, as she puts it, "big" events which we can only imagine means riding distances normally reserved for a car......or airplane. She loves riding and has spent time volunteering with numerous bike organizations teaching skills or just simply taking people out on rides. And some of those "people" she takes on rides? Her six (!) grandkids. She has mentored in the Little Bellas Boulder program since day 1 and is looking forward to the day her four granddaughters can take part in the program. We feel pretty lucky to have been one of those organizations she decided to volunteer for.
