Program Description

Registration Process

We want program registration to be easy and fair. We are transitioning all programs to a three week pre-registration period. With this new system, everyone will have three weeks to pre-register their participant(s) for Little Bellas. After pre-registration closes, one of two things will happen: a) if the program is full or over capacity, we will use a random selection process to determine who gets in; or b) we will transition to our usual first come first serve registration to fill the remaining slots.

We hope this new process will ease some stress and help create a more fair registration system for all Little Bellas girls and families. See more information on our blog here.

Program Description

It's always more fun to ride in a group!!! Getting together with a bunch of like-minded people who share the love for being outside and riding trails as you do. Many times it's hard to find a group of people who have the same schedule and can ride at the same times.  We have the solution! The Little Bellas Ride Program!

The Benton County, AR Ride meets Tuesdays throughout various trails in the area. This Ride Program is the next level of the Little Bellas for 12 to 15 year olds. Open to girls of all abilities, the Ride program offers the girls a unique opportunity to learn how to ride mountain bikes from our most experienced mentors. Still based around having fun, the rides take them on trails they may know, trails they may not know, and really gives the girls a chance to try, learn, or hone their skills.

This program will focus on riding mountain bikes with peers socially with a deeper emphasis on mature emotional development.  Mentors in this program are ready to ask questions and get to know participants in the Boost Program to be able to navigate situations and emotions that are specific to this age group.  No previous Little Bellas programs are required to join, and all mountain bike skills levels are welcome!

Financial assistance is available if needed and we also have equipment available through our Gear Up program!  Please communicate any of these needs when filling out the registration form for the program.

Bentonville, AR Program Lead

Kelsey "discovered" mountain biking accidentally in the 7th grade with a friend when a detour on a ride took them on a newly made trail. She never looked back. Kelsey works to get people on bikes and to make Northwest Arkansas as bike friendly as possible. Road, mountain, or cross, if you pedal it and it has two wheels, Kelsey wants in. Her amazing dedication to cycling and a general joy for life always shows through whether she's making up TV shows for Little Bellas campers to "watch", hanging out with her dog, Nancy Drew, jumping in a mountain bike race, or quoting Meryl Streep movies.
