Program Description

Registration Information

We want program registration to be easy and fair, so we will run this program's registration with a random selection process. Everyone will have one week to pre-register their participant(s) for Little Bellas. Pre-registration does not guarantee a spot, and we do not collect payment during the pre-registration period. After pre-registration closes, one of two things will happen: a) if the program is full or over capacity, we will use a random selection process to determine who gets in; those who are not selected will be placed on a waitlist or b) everyone who pre-registered will be accepted into the program and we will transition to our usual first come first serve registration to fill the remaining slots.

Program Description

It's always more fun to ride in a group!!! Getting together with a bunch of like-minded people who share the love for being outside and riding trails as you do. Many times it's hard to find a group of people who have the same schedule and can ride at the same times.  We have the solution! The Little Bellas Ride Program!

The Benton County, AR Ride meets Tuesdays throughout various trails in the area. This Ride Program is the next level of the Little Bellas for 12 to 15 year olds. Open to girls of all abilities, the Ride program offers the girls a unique opportunity to learn how to ride mountain bikes from our most experienced mentors. Still based around having fun, the rides take them on trails they may know, trails they may not know, and really gives the girls a chance to try, learn, or hone their skills.

This program will focus on riding mountain bikes with peers socially with a deeper emphasis on mature emotional development.  Mentors in this program are ready to ask questions and get to know participants in the Boost Program to be able to navigate situations and emotions that are specific to this age group.  No previous Little Bellas programs are required to join, and all mountain bike skills levels are welcome!

Financial assistance is available if needed and we also have equipment available through our Gear Up program!  Please communicate any of these needs when filling out the registration form for the program.

Bentonville, AR Program Lead

Katherine is an Arkansas native that has invested in her community for many years. You can always count on her to spice things up, whether that's playing cards or riding bikes, she always manages to make sure that everyone is laughing and feels welcome. Katherine has worked at the local VA hospital as a social worker for 10 years and loves that her job allows her to help others overcome obstacles. When she's not riding her mountain bike and practicing her jumps and drops, you can find Katherine walking her golden retriever, Bear, on the trail and trying to stop him from chasing deer.
