New Partner with Rasputitsa Spring Classic
Little Bellas is excited to announce our newest partnership with the Rasputitsa Spring Classic Race on April 16th.
Rasputitsa (ras-pu-ti-tsa) is Russian for mud season when the roads become difficult to traverse. It's is a self proclaimed psychotic 45 mile, insane, drop to your knees and cry sufferfest in East Burke, Vermont, with a section-Cyberia- so difficult, that people won't believe your stories.
Don’t worry, we won’t be bringing your daughters to endure that kind of craziness and we never want them to drop to their knees crying, you know we are all about the fun. Instead, we hope to bring some infectious laughter to the sidelines of Rasputitsa this year!
With a shared mission of growing the sport of cycling, the founders of the Rasputitsa Spring Classic will donate a large portion of the profits to cycling organizations. This year they’ve chosen Little Bellas as one of the benefactors of proceeds from the race.
Little Bellas is absolutely thrilled to partner with Rasputitsa. Rasputitsa brings the fun to a challenging race situation, which parallels nicely with our mission of getting more girls to love the sport of cycling and leading healthy lifestyles. Their support makes a huge impact with our organization and allows us to offer equal opportunities despite participant's financial shortcomings.
In addition to the race, the Rasputitsa Spring Classic will host a private VIP preview of the course on February 8th with organization members including Sabra and Lea Davison of Little Bellas and Jeremy Powers, Alec Donahue, and Mukunda Feldman of Jam Fund Cycling. These experienced cyclists will give approval of the 2016 course and affirm its designation as a sufferfest. After this exclusive course preview, the 2016 course will be launched to the public at large in preparation of the April 16th race. Four invitations to this exclusive course preview will be raffled with winners selected on 1/26/16.

The winners will be invited to ride the course and accompany these pro cyclists to post-ride bonfire lunch. Also included are overnight accommodations and prizes from each organization. “Supporting organizations that are giving back and growing the sport of cycling is very important to us. We’ve never been in this for the money. We’ve always just wanted to invite a bunch of riders to our neck of the woods to ride what we consider some truly exceptional landscapes,” says co-founder, Heidi Myers.
Little Bellas is bringing in the fun and is seeking volunteers of girls, mentors, and families to join us at the race. There are a number of volunteer roles to sign up for. Use this link.www.volunteersignup.org/LFM4A.
We know that a cheer squad of Little Bellas is guaranteed to help riders know they are suffering for a good cause during the race and at pre and post activities. If your Little Bella wants to join in on the fun please email Mary Tracy at email@example.com
